Resource to Assess Sight Words

Instead of the traditional point and read sight word assessment, you can use a no-prep digital assessment to get your assessments competed in record time.
Students will simply view the assessment presentation and name each sight word. While the presentation plays, you can fill in the data spreadsheet that is provided.
Collect and Store Data
While your students are viewing the sight word assessment presentation, you can input their data. The Fry’s sight word spreadsheet has five sheets for different assessments.
In the first sheet, you will assess how well your students know the list of pre-primer words. The other sheets will assess students over the sight word lists from kindergarten through third grade.
There is also a separate spreadsheet available for Dolch sight words. As the student completes the assessment, you will simply add a checkmark when the student has shown mastery of the word.
Analyze Student Data
When the assessment is complete, you will be able to see how many sight words the student knows because the total will automatically populate.
